Association Management

In 2023 I was entrusted with the congress presidency of the OT Congress – Annual Congress of the Austrian Society for Orthopaedics. The Vienna Medical Academy was a highly professional partner right from choosing the congress location, contact with the sponsors, budgeting through to the programme design. Always reachable, constructive and creative in problem-solving with high personal commitment of the staff — the collaboration worked perfectly. I can warmly recommend the Vienna Medical Academy as PCO.

As Past President of the ESHG, I have valued working with WMA. Our Society’s collaboration since 2001 has been central to our growth into a community of ~4,000 members and an annual hybrid conference with ~7,000 participants. Beyond flawless execution, it’s the trust, insight and partnership they bring that sets them apart. I can wholeheartedly recommend WMA to anyone looking for a reliable, dynamic partner.

Since 2024 I organise annually the NMN Symposium together with colleagues, which brings approximately 200 participants from around the world. Through the excellent collaboration with the Vienna Medical Academy the NMN Symposium has quickly gained an international reputation as the meeting for Nuclear Medicine and Neuro-Oncology, which not only convinces through excellent content but also through perfect organisation.

The FEMclub is an association to promote equal opportunities, female empowerment and networking of women in medicine and science – without the support of the Vienna Medical Academy the founding of the association in this form would not have been possible. The Vienna Medical Academy offers the FEMclub not only organisational backing but also the reliable structure needed for sustainable change. We are very grateful for the extraordinary commitment and partnership!
