The Vienna Academy for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research is a non-profit association whose task and purpose is the promotion of research in the healthcare sector as well as the continuing education of people working in healthcare, especially physicians. The association pursues its activities exclusively and directly for the public benefit according to its purpose and without intent to generate profit.

Since 2024 I organise annually the NMN Symposium together with colleagues, which brings approximately 200 participants from around the world. Through the excellent collaboration with the Vienna Medical Academy the NMN Symposium has quickly gained an international reputation as the meeting for Nuclear Medicine and Neuro-Oncology, which not only convinces through excellent content but also through perfect organisation.
